I feel like I just don\u2019t know where to look.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, I\u2019ve always found that there is <em>too<\/em> much happening on Centre\u2019s campus. Frankly, it becomes overwhelming. And, unfortunately, as a statue, I can\u2019t attend many events, but I\u2019m not sure I know what I\u2019d pick or how to if I could go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, I have a few pieces of advice. I find that being part of plenty of clubs\u2019 GroupMes makes learning about events easier. They post information about where\/when events will happen along with descriptions. That\u2019s an easy way to learn about what\u2019s going on around campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever you go to Cowan, take a look at the TV advertisements outside and the banners within\u2014Centre and many of its clubs bring attention to their events through this hub of student life. Flyers are also posted in Young, Crounse, and dorm bulletin boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, I have heard rumors that SGA is working on creating a \u201cmaster calendar\u201d of events where clubs and Centre itself can see when events are taking place and where, which will make navigating all the events that Centre puts on easier because all the information will be in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wish you lots of luck finding the events that pique your interest. Remember to enjoy yourself\u2014that\u2019s all that matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I get into a relationship at Centre?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m afraid I don\u2019t have much advice on relationships\u2014the only companion I have as of now is the Flame, and the Flame only has time to complain about the \u201cruns\u201d it sees. However, I would say you should put yourself out there by talking to new people or going to events where you can meet and form connections with others, such as SAC parties, club meetings, or pick-up sports games. No one gets in a relationship by staying in their dorm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And remember, Centre is a small campus. The dating pool is small. If you don\u2019t end up in a relationship here, that does not mean anything in the long run. (Well, you could end up alone like me, but it\u2019s not too bad. And, hey, I\u2019m getting a friend soon, so you never know when you\u2019ll meet someone new).
