With each new year, Centre ushers in new changes and campus renovations. This fall, campus will receive one of the biggest changes since the construction of Brockman Commons.<\/p>\n

Over the summer, construction will begin to add Sandella\u2019s Flatbread Caf\u00e9 to the current Hall of Fame Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Sandella\u2019s is a caf\u00e9 restaurant originally based out of Redding, Connecticut. The menu started with simple but delicious sandwiches on baguettes and artisan breads.<\/p>\n

Today, however, both the menu and the locations of Sandella\u2019s have evolved. Now the company has university restaurants in over 32 states.<\/p>\n

The decision to bring a new dining option to Centre came from the ever-growing campus population. One of the goals of Sandella\u2019s is to help relieve some of the pressure from Cowan.<\/p>\n

The familiar faces of Sodexo workers like Denzel (above) will still be employeed at the new Sandella\u2019s facility which will replace Jazzman\u2019s. The new facility will be constructed this summer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With more food and drink options, Sandella\u2019s will hopefully become a more frequented lunch and dinner place for students.<\/p>\n

Along with this, the meal plans for next year have been slightly altered to help accommodate this goal. The meal plans have an added amount of flex dollars ranging from $75 to $945 so students can easily purchase any of the tasty Sandella\u2019s treats.<\/p>\n

The menu has also expanded to include wraps, paninis, quesadillas, grilled flatbreads, salads, rice bowls, and many other delicious offerings.<\/p>\n

However, some of Sandella\u2019s signature dishes include the grilled pizza flatbreads, rice bowls, and breakfast choices.<\/p>\n

The grilled pizza flatbreads are designed for the busy student. Items like the Hawaiian Grilled Flatbread with ham, bacon, pineapple, red onions, and cheese are quickly cooked and ready to take to class in a matter of minutes.<\/p>\n

The rice bowls are one of Sandella\u2019s more distinctive dishes. While there are several variations on the delicacy, each one begins with a serving of brown rice and fresh ingredients inside of a toasted flatbread shell.<\/p>\n

Considering that many students currently utilize Jazzman\u2019s for breakfast items, the new Sandella\u2019s menu will include things like the Western Omelet Panini with eggs, mushrooms, green peppers, red onions, tomatoes, and Cheddar Jack cheese inside of Sandella\u2019s signature flatbread panini.<\/p>\n

Since Sandella\u2019s does not provide coffee products, the Hall of Fame will be brewing Starbucks coffee similar to the options at the Grill for the coffee-needy student.<\/p>\n

No matter what choice you make, know that all of Sandella\u2019s flatbred products are All-Natural, fat-free, trans-fat free and low in calories.
